Google Is Testing A New Search Results Interface
May 4, 2006 by Gaman
Some people have reported that Google is testing a new interface for their search result pages.
The new interface shows a list of three or four important pages from the number one site on the result page.
I am sure this would be useful to the users if it were to be implemented. Site owners with sites listed at number one or two spots would definitely like to see this implemented too.
What do you think?

That will be cool…
I experienced today another experiment - google tried to implement a panel to the left side which showed the quantity relation among some google services like search in “web”, “groups”, “news” etc.;
This is my post and a screen shot of the new google interface
Interesting, not?

(sorry, my blog is in german, but the screen shot says it all)
Hi Mark, thanks for the info. Previously this option is available by entering certain command into your browser.

Google is always playing with its interface - it’s not unusual to load up a page and notice something different, but the moment you refresh, it’s gone…
