In addition, it's easy to fake Alexa stats making it more unreliable as a source of earning estimates. There's one company which is currently ranked 31/30 at Alexa but they are losing a million per day. Hence Alexa ranking (or traffic) is not always equal profit. I can even calculate the estimated traffic level based on Alexa stats but that does not mean anything in term of profit. Actually PoE has 10M page view per day and the ePCM is 0.80. At least that's what Marcus claimed. So that's about $8000 per day. The number is one thing, but the way he monetize his site and the fact that he's not a premium Adsense publisher are different things altogether. This bound to raise several eyebrows. We are not talking about profit, we are talking about Adsense income per day regardless of his expenses. Oh btw, the 10K Adsense income per day is already outdated as claimed by Marcus himself :).
