Google AdSense changes default Ads to Borderless Ads
May 25, 2006 by Gaman
Google has sent out an email to all publishers notifying them that Google will change the default colour palette from Seaside (formerly known as Mother Earth) to Open Air. For some reason I haven’t received that email.
Anyway, here’s how it’ll look like before and after the change:

They say many publishers prefer the cleaner look and they have also seen that a blended colour palette performs better for the publishers.
The new changes won’t affect me since I’ve been using borderless ads for a while.
While this move will benefit some publishers, some other people might complaint as it further blurs the distinction between ads and content.
