Search Engine Ranking Factors - How Many Are There?

There’s a great article over at SEOmoz about the on page and off page factors that search engines use to rank web pages. The author documented 103 search engine ranking factors based on the author’s own opinion and other contributors.

In addition to the contributors’ comments, each factor is given the estimated ranking importance based on the group’s overall opinions.

And as if the 103 ranking factors were not enough, a Search Engine Watch Forums thread is calling for 200 listed on page and off page search ranking factors to be documented.
