My Blog Traffic: From 0 to 1400 Daily Visitors In Less Than Two Month

June 21, 2006 by

I am happy today to see my blogs traffic continue to climb up. One of them is really starting to take off as you can see from its Sitemeter stats below.

That particular blog has 800% more traffic today than it was just a month ago. At this rate, I’d have 10,000 visitors per day in a couple of months from now, I wish 🙂

So how did I do this? I have been giving out clues which are sprinkled all over in this blog. If you are a frequently reader, you might know how I do this.

There’s no blackhat trickery involved, I am using normal techniques, in addition to one important ingredient – hard work.

Let’s see if I can achieve my goal to get 10,000 visitors per day in a couple of months from now. I know it won’t be easy but I guess anything is possible and all I have to do is work hard and give it a shot.

Try out W3Counter some time. You might like it. Integrates with your FeedBurner account to provide feed stats too.

well, i dont really care how many people visit me in one day. i just let it be as it is…
but people will read and recommend ur blog to others if you keep posting nice, interesting entries. that’s where the real magic comes from.

I started to read your blog more than a month ago.I remeber your page wasnt even ranked at that time and at that time i chose to read problogger more often, maybe because its just more popular.

Somehow, as time progressed, i came back to ur blog more and more, usually i come here before checking problogger now.

Its amazing how you manage to get so much readers so fast. I just started to blog, its only like 2 weeks but im already frustrated due to lack of traffic.

Maybe u should make a big post on marketing a blog?

Congratulations again man, great job.

Hey guys,

Thanks for the support, I really appreciate it. I am by far not the most talented writer around but I hope you’ll find my posts useful:)

Here, I try to cover a wider range of topics, not limited to blogging issues. I don’t think I can compete with Problogger when it comes to writing about the blogosphere. Darren is the real deal there 🙂

travis: I know how you feel. Just hang in there. I am still far away from my target too so, you are not alone.

I’ll see what I can do about writing on marketing a blog.
Thanks for the suggestion.

1400 is a great amount. I get only +/- 300 hits per day after about one year of blogging.
