How to Add Social Bookmarking and Networking Icons below Each Post

June 24, 2006 by

One of my readers asked me what did I do to add the social bookmarking and networking sites icons below each post like you see here at Sabahan.com.

This is achieved using a simple plugin called WP-Notable by Cal Evans.

What I like about this plugin is it gives you the option to select which icons to display.

Additionally, when you hover your mouse over an icon, a tooltip will be displayed. You can add text to this tooltip to help your user identify exactly what clicking on the icon will do.

You can also use CSS to further customize the look and do little things such as mouse over effect when a user clicks on an icon.

Sorry, I do not know how to do this with Blogger. Perhaps you’ll have to code it manually.
