5 Tips to Overcome Limiting Beliefs to Be a Successful Blogger

February 7, 2007 by

Anybody who has tried blogging knows it requires hard work and time commitment in order to become successful. What you believe will determine whether you’ll achieve your goal or not.

You can follow the following tips to increase your level of belief to help overcome any challenges you may and will encounter along the way.

1.You must believe in your ability to achieve your goal

Whether you goal is to make money from blogging, or have thousands of subscribers, or visitors visiting you blog daily – you must trust your ability to accomplish your goal.

Realize that failure is sometimes inevitable and let your mistakes improve your ability to achieve your goal

“Nothing can stop the man with the right mental attitude from achieving his goal ; nothing on earth can help the man with the wrong mental attitude. ” – Thomas Jefferson

2. Realize that you already have what you need to be successful

Sometimes there seems to be thousands of things we need to have before we can even start thinking about succeeding.

While that can be true sometimes, there’s a danger that you will never realize your full potential if you dwell in it.

Each time you are in doubt of yourself, you are allowing the chance to succeed to pass you by.

“I’m not a prophet or a stone aged man, just a mortal with potential of a superman. I’m living on.” – David Bowie

3. Believe that you will be lucky

Blogging is a lucky game. You have to believe that what will happen has a good chance of happening. To be lucky you have to work hard and realize what’s opportunity and what isn’t.

If you think that you are lacking the talent or time or whatever, you are letting yourself be held back.

“I’m a great believer in luck, and I find the harder I work, the more luck I have.” – Thomas Jefferson

4. Expect a miracle

Maintain your motivation and never let your sense of enthusiasm to fade.

Miracles are often the results of ordinary activities such as resilience, working and planning.

“There are two ways to live: you can live as if nothing is a miracle ; you can live as if everything is a miracle” – Albert Einstein

5. Never stop believing

There are times when things don’t seem to be going in your favour.

You’ve put in the hours but only made a few cents from AdSense, you promoted your blog but nobody seems to notice, you write great content but nobody’s reading, in the end you give up and stop believing in yourself.

Never stop believing in yourself.

“Whether you think you can or whether you think you can’t – you are right.” – Henry Ford.

For me and the blog i make is a must and i enjoy it. i like th last quote “Whether you think you can or whether you think you can’t – you are right.” – Henry Ford.

you think you can only get few cents from adsense only and part-timer… yes you’re right. you think by doing blogging full time can make you happy and better than 9-6pm working in the office, yes you’re right too.

The power of believe. Think BIG! Thanks gaman for this post. that should answer some doubters.;)

Doesn’t all that apply to anything we want to be successful at in life?

Great advice nonetheless and great quotes!
