Google Pack Offers Free Screensavers Too
March 30, 2007 by Gaman
Google has added two new applications to Google Pack to help you improve you computer’s security.
The two products are Symantec’s Norton Security Scan which detects and removes viruses and an anti-spyware – Spyware Doctor Starter Edition - from PC Tools.
Both software includes free updates.
I didn’t install those software since I already have the full version of Norton Internet Security 2007.
If you are wary about installing third party screensavers you found on the Internet, Google Pack screensaver application should ease this concern.
The latest Google Pack includes a screensaver application that displays photos from your own computer or from online photo sharing websites such as Flickr.com.
I am currently streaming photo feeds from
Buck Forester’s Photos
His photos are stunning to say the least.

Thanks for this post. I knew it earlier but never check it properly. Love the google updater. downloading the screensaver. will review later. thanks again gaman
ai…can update the anti-virus also?
mine just updated!
woah….that is great
I noticed a few titles dropping off Google Pack …
Do you know if it’s the full version of Norton Security? Why not just have both installed just in case? Can never be too safe when it comes to security. Google is even making screensavers save? I don’t know whether I should say good for them or say that’s ridiculous since they’re doing so much nowadays.
Nationwide VPN
It’s not Norton security but Norton Security Scan which is a different product.
As for the screensaver, it’s just a simple app nothing complex. Of course you can choose which app you want to install.
Whoaaaa.. This is some news for newbies like me.. Heheheh Although is over a year ago but this topic’s is so much good than the other articles i’ve just read.. Thank’s Gaman!! YOu’re the man.. Heheheh
