Welcome to Readers from JohnChow.com!

July 10, 2007 by

I had the privilege of getting John Chow to review Sabahan.com and I’d like to welcome all the readers who have arrived here from John’s review.

As you can see above, Sabahan.com is all about computers the Internet, blogging, marketing and interesting stuff. You can also find lots of posts about AdSense, AdWords, making money tips, blogging and WordPress.

I am Gaman, that’s my pseudonym by the way, not my real name. I am from Sabah, used to be known as North Borneo, one of the states in Malaysia . Check out my About Me page if you want to know more about me.

Here are some of the popular articles I’ve written to help you get started while exploring Sabahan.com

And many more… You can also find the most popular posts on the sidebar when you visit a category.

I am going to write another post later to share my experience paying $400 to John Chow to have Sabahan.com reviewed. This blog is currently experiencing what some bloggers called the John Chow effect.

How does the review affect my traffic, rss subscriber count and blog income? Is it worth it?

That will be the topic in my next post, so if you’d like to know that – please subscribe to my feed. Thanks!

Sabahan IS the good place to be, whether in the blog, in the state Sabah itself and of course in the people of Sabah too, The Sabahans. We are proud to have Gaman as our leader. :) We rock the world!
Now, that’s Gaman’s Effect!

I have to agree with John on your 300×250 ad block. I suppose you’ve done your testing for placing them either to the left or to the right, but it looks so much better if it is placed to the right. Making the ad too obvious just puts me off more from click the ad. But that’s just my POV.
