No that doesn’t work if you want to view AdWords ads for the US and the UK. Besides even if someone in the US use google.com.my to search Google, he’ll see AdWords ads targeted specifically to the US market, not Malaysian.

Using Google.com doesn’t mean you’ll see AdWords ads as they appear in the US. Instead you’ll see Malaysian targeted ads.

You’ll need to use “&gl=country”

instead of adding “&gl=country”, I only add the country code at the end of domain: google.com.MY

Very useful, particularly if you want to search for particular niche that you want to localize on for a particular country.
