Adsense Black List for Google Adsense

Posted on 26th March, 2006

If you are an Adsense publisher looking for ways to improve your Adsense click through rate (CTR), you may find the Adsense Black List helpful.

The site helps you recognize and filter low paying Google ads which link to sites that are created primary to make money via Adsense using spammy pages without much content. These pages, as they called on the site, MFA (Made For Adsense) typically carry low CPC.

What you can do is add those MFA sites into your Adsense competitive ad filter list so that only high paying ads appear on your sites.

From the site:

This site will teach you how to seek, recognize and filter low paying google ads which link to MFA (Made for Adsense) sites AND we will provide you with tools that will help you to substantly increase your AdSense revenue, all for free. Why would you seatle on taking $0.01 when you can boost it over $0.50 per click and double or triple your earnings ?!

Sounds good and all but what concern me is the effect of filtering what we think are low paying ads.

As you may know, Adsense will only show the highest paying ads on your site. So if these ads that would have been served are filtered, wouldn’t it stand to reason that the subsequent ads would be of lower CPC, or even PSA ads? But you never know until you try.

Also, I mentioned in my earlier article about how you can use top paying Adsense keywords and profit by creating sites that focus on them. Well, now it’s more important to ensure you create a good quality website, not just one that can be considered as MFA which might end up in the black list.

If you have used the filter, feel free to leave your comment and tell us about it.
