Danny Sullivan of Search Engine Watch on USA Today

USA Today has published an interesting article about Danny Sullivan of Search Engine Watch recently. If you don’t know who he is, he is considered as one of the most renowned search engine authority on the net.
I’ve been a reader of his website since the late 90s and have learned a lot of SEO stuff from there.
Most people consider him the ultimate Silicon Valley insider which he is. But interestingly, he does not work in Silicon Valley; he does it all some 4,000 miles away – in the remote little village of Chittterne, four hours from London, England.
When the world he writes about arrives at work in Silicon Valley, Sullivan has just finished dinner with his wife and two boys. He then retires to his den, parks himself in front of three computer monitors and spends the remaining evening hours trying to decipher the mystery of how online search engines rank listings.
It’s interesting to see how the Internet has enabled different people to do many things that affect other people from the other side of the globe.
I am running a full time online business (of course it’s at a much smaller scale than that of Mr Sullivan) from a small town in Sabah and about 95% of my customers come from the US.
I love the fact that just about all I need to run a business online is a computer and an Internet connection.
